For you 4049 chipsters

I have made two identical Llama overdrives and they made noise on the bench but in a hammond box now they are quite...The max position on the gain is too much half sounds better than full so i would think a 500k pot would do fine there...The volume pot acts like a gain too kinda of different than most pedals you need to keep this at half too so I am wondering what to do there.. If you bought a Red Llama pedal and it oscillated at max gain on both you would return it I am sure so it must be something else in the scheme or the chip is less gainy...Man mine wails at half throttle you dont need anymore but if you do turn it up it will oscillate and kinda of shunt the signal down weird I have two now play at half throttle is all I need...fairchild chips???/ ............. this is for the CMOS lounge i guess
