Hey!

This weekend I bought 3 second-hand pedals and got 1 for free also, the lot for about 90â,¬ (110$ I guess). ;-)
This is the list:

-Yamaha digital delay (forget the number again)
-Boss Octave OC2
-Boss Flanger BF2 (modable ;-) )
-Ibanez CrunchyRhythm Soundtank overdrive.
-Boss 8-9v adaptor.

What should I keep? Rip out and/or mod?
haven't played on anything BUT the flanger, which gave clean chorus, jet plane to awkward ring modulation. fun. just a bit noisy on the low swoosh though.

Geez, that was a good deal !!
Keep all the Boss stuff.
See what you can do with the soundtank, if it sounds like poo chuck it !
I never heard of an Ibanez "crunchy rhythm"  !!

Yamaha delay is probably good, is it black with green legend ?
That could be a sampler delay and it's 12 bit, which sounds quite cool

Looks like I bought a sack of gems for a buck!  :P

I'm not an octave-down guy. If it doesn't surprise me, I will surely sell the Boss OC-2. Shame for the box, cause that metallic brown would be very nice for BSIABII...

The Yamaha stuff is DDS-20 (Black and green yes). Delay and sample. Capable of some flanging too as I read?

HarmonyCentral proclaims positive feedback about the soundtank CR5. Its one of the heavier steel box series

The OC-2 in front of a nice "Octave up Fuzz" will sound great !
If you sell it and its in good condition then its 50/60 bucks on Ebay.

I have the Yamaha DDS-20M which will sample/layer phrases up
to 1200 m sec !  nice :D
I'm sure its 12 bit, which has a nice tone of its own :D
Good news on the sound tank then !

SCORE  !!
Check the recent BF-2 post for some nice mods

Keep the Boss Flanger. I have one, it's very useful, and you can do good mods in it.

Pedal love

I agree with Marty about modifying the oc-2 with a diode oc-up circuit.pl
