I found this post the other day http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=36579.0  by Eb7+9 and decided to see what it sounded like. It has the sound of amplified dry signal with a hint of up octave running on it. It uses two 741 op amps. What would it take in this circuit to bring it to life, and be a decent up octave fuzz? I changed the 100k gain pot to a 1 meg, and it really just made a boost, with some OD while playing on the neck pick up. Mostly you plug it in, and yawns come out! To me, it just looks like a preamp circuit, and I'm not sure how the wave form is supposed to shift on top of the reference made the way it is.

There's been some reply's to the main thread, seems like a "matched pair" of diodes

Let me know if you get this working right ?
