I just finished designing and testing a MOSFET FF clone on my breaboard.  It has the addition of an extra gain stage at the input, so it's kinda like one of those circuits steve at Small Bear has on his site.

It has excellent sustain and a quite desirable fuzz texture.  If enough of you are interested in building this, I will scan in the schematic with helpful notes and post it on my web page and provide a link (this time I will draw it more neatly and legible before scanning).

you're kidding, right? A new circuit design, and you wonder if us DIY-Vultures out here would be interested in checking out your schematic?

Why, of course we're interested!!!!!!

Yeah, thow it up.

Here's one I did a few years back (Beavis) and Jack Orman did one before me!

According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.

Many Faces of Fuzz

These are ones I've tried. They all work OK. I kinda have a on-off relationship with the FF. Sometimes it's happening, sometimes it's not.

Thanks for all the links guys!  I'll have to try some of those sometime. :D

I have the link up now, copy and paste if this doesn't take you directly there:
