One picture is really nice:

It looks that P-2 and G-2 are very similar...

Its the woodworking shots I like - might help my cack-handed attempts at a pedalboard in the future.

The best thing is that we can see how he works and also that everything inside is really neat...

I want (to build) one too!

It looks like a lot of the electronics are completely unshielded. Open electronics in a wooden box. Or, will shielding around the electronics be added later (not pictured)?

He adds shielding to the boxes. I expect he's just about ready to do that, if he hasn't already. I see a couple of PCBs are completely covered in that red goop - must be some of his designs...

no one ever

I think his shielding process is top secret.

I saw the Cream reunion DVD... Eric looked like he was using a Cornish all-in-one pedalboard, but with a separate wah! hmmm...

I would love to see a Cornish schematic... see his tricks.

There's a Cornish thread on this forum that links to some articles about him.  As Paul said, he mentioned some stuff he applies to the entire box that provides sheilding.  I wonder if it's as simple as conductive paint.

Doesn't it seem like the box would flex a little?  It doesn't look like thick enough wood if he's not doing internal bracing.

It would be if he uses flip-flop circuits with momentary switches. Or perhaps the internal framework will be done after all the circuitry is finished...

I must say, Pete Cornish does some nice work!

Reading from this page on Cornish's site, does anyone have any idea what makes his input buffer "fiendishly clever?"

This is like real gear porn for me :icon_redface:
I've known about Pete Cornish ever since I found out Andy Summers from the Police used a custom Cornish board.
I'd love to see more shots of his board for sure.
Nice work indeed!

What I mean is, if it's just Pete self-promoting, that's fine.  I'm just curious if he's doing something unusual that anyone knows of.

I had always thought that those donuts around the stomp switches were rubber, but in looking at http://www.petecornish.co.uk/wood6.html, it looks like they are plywood.
