I cannot figure out how to layout a circuit onto a perfboard going from a schematic...i havent actaully tried yet, but when i try to draw one out, i just get frustriated and get a headache. Can anyone give me some advice on how to do this successfully, or even make a few layouts for me? Right now I just need ones for a Rangemaster and a Fuzzface. Thanks...and Im sorry if this has been asked alot or whatever, I just need some help.

Runoff Groove or Homewrecker has a perfboard template you can print some of, these make it easy to draw drafts of your circuit because the page looks like a perfboard.
I've used graph paper but the templates are better.

thats alot of help, but what are square white things i see? also all of those use strip board, right? how exaclty do you use that? sorry for the questions.

I think the white squares you're talking about are the places where the trace of copper was cut to make multiple sections for that row. You can cut the traces easily using a drill bit and your hand. Just give the bit a spin in the holes marked with the white/red squares.

For more info on strip-board construction, search for "vero" or "veroboard". There was quite a flurry of discussion at one point last year. It's a very neat system. 8)

This place is here to ask questions, so please don't ever worry about that. ;)

Best of luck on all your builds!

btw...i need to make some changes to the "69" fuzz layout, so dont build that one yet :)

"most" of my layouts have been verified, but there are still a few that havent been tested/built yet....
