Hi..

I'm looking for Hughes & Kettner "Tubeman" schematic.  I own one the old version #136854.  Now, it was broken.  It's just has sound only bypass mode.  Anyone have the schmatic, please kindly provide

This is the manual which includes the schematic.

Good luck...

Hey Andy,

Thanks for posting that schem!  Do you by any chance have a schem and/or manual for the H&K Metal Shredder?  This is probably the worst named device ever.  It is a tube device that produces (surprise) nice warm tube sounds - great for blues.  It has a rudimentary amp sim on board and a built in SS amp (5w?).  I wonder how many people have been turned off buying one simply from the name? ;)

Thanks,

Peter

Sorry Peter, no dice on the Metal Shredder schem.  Soapman, I never noticed that the Tubeman pdf was for the II and not the Tubeman I.  That sucks since I downloaded it because I have a Tubeman I myself.  Oh well...

Are the 2 that different that this schemmo won't help you on the way?

Thanks Andy. Good stuff for study!
More stuff, less fear, less  hassle and less censoring? How 'bout it??. To discuss what YOU want to discuss instead of what others decide for you. It's possible...

But not at diystompboxes.com...... regrettably

As well as the Tubeman PDF I also have a "tubeman.gif" on disk here.

See if this is closer to what you need - tubeman gif link

Kind of clever diode arrangement for clipping BTW.

Yes, I'm replying to a 16 year old thread.  It's not even a record for me.

Just searching for data on the H&K Tubeman 1, and this thread came up.
The schematics for the Tubeman 2 are intact but the links to Tubeman 1
are dead.  Does anyone have those?

If not, do you know the differences between the pedals?

Thanks

The Hughes&Kettner Mk1  had 4 channels on a rotary switch, but only one footswitch.

The mk2 had 3 channels on 3 separated footswitches ,with gain volume on each and a 3 band eq section for all
