Envoice mic pre fixed ( update ) :D

You may have seen my post about my "blown" mic-pre a week or so ago,
well I tracked down the schem, ordered some new 4 watt and 1 watt resistors
and was sent some samples ( I didn't ask BTW ! ) from a company called Block,
who build the correct blown transformer ( 230/15v 2 VA ) in the right size.
All done, fitted and after one or two "solder pad" jumpers ( some were shot to hell )
it now works again perfectly  :D

how high is the supposed 300V now?
(and how did you know it was supposed to be that? - did you get a schem?)

did you put in a new/other tube?

..there is a lot of nice, knowledgebly people over there...I was almost thinking of searching for all posts by PRR and print them as "audio according to PRR"..Im sure it would contain everything anyone could ever want to know about proaudio-gear/technology...he seems tho know EVERYTHING... :icon_eek:
