Hi,
http://aronnelson.com/gallery/Richard-Boop-RLBJR65/SSS
Just about to build this, into a box that contains a Firefly AmpSim, and a Condor CabSim
Common sense tells me to hook this up after the Condor Cabsim, but also this will only be wired with the cabsim, so no separate footswitch

Gonna try a 100Kb pot for level, and 1K for saturation as suggested for smoothness.
But The only GE diodes I have are 1N34A, not 1N60, There isnt much difference between them?

Cheers

I wired one up with a condor and have a switch for both.
I have it in front of the condor .... reason is to control the "breakup" of
it more in that position.
After condor ( I tried it ) got too "mushy" and I ended up with almost no level
left over, when trying to "back it off" !!
It's a subtle harmonic distortion, needs to be before condor IMO.
I used old 1N91 Ge diodes, 1N34A's should work just fine ... X8  right ?

Well I built it, put it after the condor, not sure what is wrong but I can get a bypassed signal when bypassed, but a continous hum if either the ampsim/cabsim is on, and no guitar signal. (with PSU at 9v)

With a battery it works, but the ampsim now hasnt much volume or gain , kick in the cabsim, i cant really tell if the speaker saturation sim is working as both knobs now act as volumes!

Edit and now my PSU is faulty it just died on me! so the hum and lack of signal may be to do with that, I need a new one
