I am going to try to build this but I have a couple of questions, if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

There is an unmarked resitor on the bottom of the schematic tied to the base of the middle BC208 transitor, anyone know the value or should I put a 1 meg trimpot and slowly adjust from 1 meg down?

FDH440 diodes?  What could be used here?  1n4001's or 1n914's or ?

The last BC208 transistor on bottom right of schematic,  should the 1M resistor be tied to the base of it?

Also, If anyone finds any errors....

Thanks!

I think you can use 1N914 or 4148 diodes.

I just finished the layout for this but still need to know:
The last BC208 transistor on bottom right of schematic, should the 1M resistor be tied to the base of it?

These are secondary, but any insight would be appreciated!

Got it all hooked up and does't work! Drats!  I put a switch to switch the 1M resistor that I didn't know if it was tied to transistor, didn't work either way.  There is a 2.2k trimpot(I used a 5K trim).  Don't know what it is for ,  so don't know how to adjust it.   It increases or decreases the +volts going into the CA3080.   I will triple check it and test the sound from front to back to see what may be wrong.

After playing around with the circuit, I finally got it going!  I won't really know how good it sounds until I take it home tonight and hook up the guitar and amp to it.
I tweaked the 2.2K trim(which I used a 5k) to 4.78volts from ground to pin 3.   I had to change the 1 Meg pot for the sustain to 25K(I used linear) all I had.   It seems to work the full range tho now.
    I used a 100KA pot for the volume,  I didn't have a 50K to try.
I used 1n4148's for the diodes and  for the unmarked resistor I used a 1M.  I also did not tie the 1 Meg resistor to the base of the last transistor. I just thought that it may have to be that way, but it doesn't.  The schematic appears ok.  I used a combination of transistors with all around the same HFE (175).

Let all know tomorrow how it sounds!
Peace!

When you test it, tell me, Arn. I will take a look to find what the trimpot do.
