I canĀ“t find this cmos ! I just found the LM555 , is that it ?
Can anyone tell me some references of this cmos timer or tell me where to find it ?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that you have what you're looking for. The LM is just a reference to the manufacturer.

i don't think the LM555 is a CMOS. and if i'm right you'll hear it when you put it in your uglyface

yeah, I think there's a CMOS version of the 555 timer and a non-CMOS version, you probably have the non-CMOS version, it might still work but probably will give a weaker sound or some such...at least that's my understanding, might have my head up my ass, always a possibility...

Yeah, this is one of the first ICs ever developed.  Well before CMOS was around.  It is bipolar, except those that explicitly state they are CMOS.

I used a 7555 in my uglyface they're CMOS versions of the 555 and should be easy to find.
