9 volts

I've just recently completed a Triwave Picogenerator. I am getting the  two tones but my speed pots in the lfo stages don't work and the leds don't flash they just stay on..... This occurs with all three speed pots. Has any one had a similar problem or could shed some light on how to approach it. All the other pots seem to be working OK.Once again any feed back appreciated Thanks

Hey 9volt, I built one a few years ago (from scratch) and it's been working perfectly all along.  I haven't had the problems you're having, but I may be able to help.  Did you order the kit or the PCB from 4MS or did you just go from scratch?  I know there's a forum on www.commonsound.org as well.  I think the designers of the triwave show up on there pretty often.

I built this from scratch and based it on the pcb board v2.  I'm quite sure I've the pcb correct I'm going to check it all again. I'll have a go at the point to point version if it fails. I've gotta say even with only half of it working it is one wicked machine!!!

Did you go through the trouble-shooting steps at the commonsound website? Obviously you've got a problem with the LFOs .... measure the voltages at each pin of each opamp, and post back here. I've got a triwave I can compare it to.

Good news. It turns out that i didn't  add the three wave pots. These are listed as added options but seem to be neccessary for the leds to flash etc

Sorry I didn't get back to you on the voltages, just found your post again .... glad to hear you got it happening. I designed the PCB, and there was a jumper for each LFO that needed to be put in place if you didn't want the waveshaping mod, however you've got them installed now so no worries. :)
