hi all,

I built Omnidrive and it success but I dont try it so much since my amp is in trouble. I only try it using mini amp tthat use earphone.
I use TL072, is there any other that can replace that IC? Because I hope something better than TL072.

Thanks

Haven't tried the omnidrive, but I've tried OPA2604 (Burr Brown/Texas Instruments) and OP249 (Analog Devices) in place of tl072's. I would say they're slightly better sounding in some situations and slightly worse sounding in others, but they are a lot more expensive. I've tried all three in my fuzz, and there's hardly any difference, so I've I got a tl072 in there now.

I doubt that any other chip would significantly alter the performance of the Omnidrive.  It's not one of those chip-sensitive units.  The diodes and other passive components do all the creative work.  The chips are just there for the heavy lifting.  Use anything you have that gives reasonable battery life with minimal noise.
