transistor substitutes

Evening all.  I seem to remember a few months back someone posted a link to a site that gave lists of substitute transistors etc.  But I can't for the life of me find the post.  I tried searching but I can't seem to get the right search criteria.  Basically I'm looking for an easily available sub for a 2n5088 for an LPB booster.

I thought I saw one that was the NTE cross reference DBase. It's here http://nte01.nteinc.com/nte/NTExRefSemiProd.nsf/$$Search?OpenForm... e.g. your 2n5088 is an NTE123AP. Hope that's what your after.
