How do i connect the 12VAC heaters to the valve ? Should i connect like in a regular amp ?

My 12Vac transformer is outside the enclosure, so, can i use regular Jacks or must be isolated ?

Thanks.

Though question heeein ?  ;D
I´ll ask again ...
Should i connect the heaters to pin 4 and 5 and connect the pin 9 to ground like a DC heater or can i connect like a regular tube amp, shunting pins 4 and 5 and connect the heaters to 9 too ?

Thanks in advance.

MetalGuy

Usually one pin goes to ground, the other one to 12V.
One end of the transformer serves as ground so I would connect it as "chassis" ground and use isolated input/output jacks.

I´ll feed the heaters with 12VAC, there´s no + or -, can you explain better please !
Thanks.

Peter Snowberg

When feeding a 12A_7 with 12VAC, connect the two AC supply lines to pins 4 and 5. Leave pin 9 as not connected. Pin 9 is used when powering with 6.3V
