Toggle switch for bypass AND to decouple battery?

Hi,
I intend to put a small fuzz circuit inside the control cavity of my bass.  Ideally I just want one toggle switch to control it externally (I'll probably use a couple trimpots inside).  I would like the switch to be: fx ON / fx bypassed and battery disconnected.

Can it be done?  What specific kind of switch do I need?  How would I wire it?
Thanks!

  It's not 'done', [without popping]...or I'd tell you how using a 3pdt
  But...
  Here's how I'd do that.
Run the bypass circuit through a DPDT push pull switched pot, do the power switching with the toggle. Or reverse the switches: toggle for BP, and Pullpot for power on/push for off.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Good idea with the push-pull pot.  And good point about the popping!  I wonder, is there a simple "soft-start" circuit to avert that popping issue?  So the fx would not be 100% on for a second?  Like a slow-charging cap maybe...
