I am finishing up my Spyder power supply and I just noticed that the heat sink on all the voltage regulators is grounded to the case! Crap! After all this work to make a transformer isolated supply, they all have a common ground. What can I do? Unscrew where they are mounted and paint the inside of the case?

Mouser sells insulating spacers, made out of aluminum oxide, that transfer the heat to the chassis. They also have kits that contain all the hardware and a mica insulator.

I am going to try the cheap route w/ paint first. Next time I will use that. Thanks for the tip!
