how to modify a Boss DS1 to Ibanez Tube Screamer?

I would have to say it's werth the time. Not only that, the TS I built really has a great tone.
 I don't know if I used the original [whatever] diode configuration, but I thinking having one of each is cool...I gotta buncha Dist+ types too.

They're two different beasts. Not much alike at all. I don't think it can be done.

hey, they actually sound quite different, though i'm not sure how similar the circuits are.

you should try some of the many mods people have done for the DS-1 though.  THat's one of the most popular ones for sure.  www.robertkeeley.com has details on what he does to it, and he even references the caps and resistors to make it easy to perform the mod yourself.

the SD-1 (Super Overdrive) can be modified to TS-9 specs, the two circuits have a lot in common.

You can easily find both schematics, and compare for differences.
