Double Trouble

I was searching last nigth, when i stumbled in front of this

Its a distortion with a class A or class AB modeller.
Had any of you built it?.

seems to be the same as Sansamp's Double drive.. http://www.axiomdrift.com/schematics/DD%20PN.gif  not at all bad box, so nice to see a layout..

Where exactly are the "even harmonics" coming from in the class A stage?  Isn't it just driving a TL072 into distortion?  And isn't the "A/B" stage a completely one-sided clipper, and thus assymetrical and strong in evens?  Or is this just a case of questionable ad copy?

funny thing that - thanks for pointing out my layout!!!
Actually I didn't build that one, but I created the layout with great care (as all the layout on my site). The control-lables shouldn't be taken literally (marketing, of course) but I found this interesting after all since I've never quite seen anything like it.

Another think: have any of you got problems displaying the schematic?
