Tubescreamer with TS808/TS9 Switch

Hi !
I have build a TS with a TS808/TS9 Switch, the only differences according the schem available at Tonepad are Ra and Rb, after testing it i really can´t hear the differences ! 
The dpdt switch is working ok because i´ve measured the resistance and when i turn the switch, the resistors change to the values of the TS808 or TS9 when selected.
Am i missing here something ?
