Hi all, I am new to this forum.  Did a search here trying to fix a friend's phaser and found all and more I needed to know.  This pedal had evidently been powered up with the wrong polarity wall wart, which fried the buffer/oscillator op-amp.  Surface mount CAN be repaired.
