An idea for the forum- a great idea

I was thinking that it would be great if we had a gut picture page. I know I'm usually curious and interested what the insides of many pedals look like as well as for reference for the ones I already have and even for ones that I may buy to repair and trade/sell.

Anyone else think this may be a valuable resource?

i have soooooooooooo many wah gut shots, its almost sickening...

ive owned them alll hahahahaha
but id LOVE to post them, for the sake of others who are also wah fanatics, and just want to see how some of them differ from another...

ill get it going as soon as i load them all up on photobucket...

Isn't that what the PICTURES! thread is for?

A thread would be hard to search for a specific pic.

If it is something that one could use as reference than it would need to be formated as a gallery.

That would be cool...
to be able to go straight to a gut shot of a certain pedal.

Alternatively...

Start a "guts" thread for each pedal.
As in "post your Reboot 2.5 gut shots" in this thread.
and "post your EA Tremolo gut shots" in this thread.

If this thread does morph into another PICTURES! thread I hope someone will re-subject it.

what we COULD do is help Discofreq make a more complete site...he has pictures of pedals, with gut shots when available...

but...
Isn't it mostly commercial pedals from the far and not so far past? Not really DIY orientated.
Unless I've mistaken the site for another.

We could be much more DIY about the pedals posted and the types of images displayed.
Oh yeah, and we can add comments and start discussions easily in a thread.

I think the intent would be to see several home-built pedals of the same circuit in one thread or gallery,
to compare "gut" techniques used by home builders.

Good idea. You guys can use the gallery and link to the pics in a thread and if it flies, it can get a separate forum if wanted.

Remember, there has to be a separate section for each pedal.
Can we get a top level gallery started so builders can start pedal specific galleries inside it?
Call it GUT SHOTS or something less vulgar.

BTW, how does one start a gallery?
