I added a soundclip of the ToneSource in my layout directory:

http://aronnelson.com/gallery/ToneSource

It starts "clean" (bypass) and runs through some of the basic sounds. I tried to explain what was happening when in the caption. Hope it is clear.

Sounds pretty rough there Doug...
Just Kidding, sounds fantastic! I see what you mean by the "Twank" setting, it gets a nice jangly tone.
Just curious, which amp did you use for this?  Closed back 1x12" cab too right?
Nice!

Sounds way better than my "frankenstein original" - need to get back
and sort that out

Thanks for the comments. :icon_wink:

John, this is the amp I used: http://home.cfl.rr.com/dbhammond/OF.html

The circuit has been modified slightly since that schematic, but that's basically it. I had the preamp gain set at about 1:00. It's a closed-back 1x12 with a g12h30 in it.

Ahh .... I Stand ( or rather Sit ) corrected  !!
Good clips and I remember the HWY'89 one, that's what made me want to build one  :icon_redface:

As I get older, I'm becoming a Goldfish, with a memory of around 3 seconds !! ... why am I on this forum
and what's this keyboard that my fingers are on ??

No problem, Marty. Wait until you're 47 and you'll know what memory-loss is all about... :icon_wink:

John, I forgot to mention that I'm using a black plate 6L6 in the amp now.

Thanks for the clarification Doug. I figured you used the Octal Fatness but I though maybe you were using something you just recently cobbled up.
I follow the AX84 forum so I have been looking at the OF files for a while now. Nice one!

I was trying to think what that tone that the last clip reminded me of, and then I remembered it was like Randy Bauchman playing "Sledgehammer" with BTO. It sounded real "tubey"to me, which is always a good thing.
