Hi all, I have another question: I am building a tremulous lune and got the LED/LDR from small bear, the VTL5C2.  It is labelled clearly which is positive and negative on the LED side, but the other side has three leads where the board (tonepad) only has two pads.  Do I need to cut off a lead, if so which one... just don't want to mess up this part as it is ex$pensive!
thanks.

I think what you have is actually a VTL5C2/2, which has got two LDR elements inside (with one common connection)
measure the resistance between the pairs of each of the leads, though I think you could get away with using any pair of 2 out of the 3 (and adjusting the trimpot in the circuit accordingly)

I was looking at my order when I posted, but looking at the part, it is actually a VTL5C4/2
