Source for Box Capacitors (North America)

Just wondering where y'all are getting the box caps, what you generally pay for them, and what the "official" name for them are. They don't seem to have them at my local shop.

Does Small Bear sell them?

Hey,
    I just made a large order on Mouser which included some boxed caps.  I bought a bunch of "AVX Multi-Layered Film Caps"  and "EPCOS Metallized Polyester Film Capacitors" (exact names).  For the AVX caps, I ordered 63V and the prices ranged from $.07-$.012 for most sizes.  I bought a couple 1uF caps for about $.44.  I also have some WIMA boxed caps that I really love but they are just too expensive $.30 and up. 

    Steve from Smallbear stated that they will be offering WIMA boxed caps in the near future.  I would buy WIMA caps from Smallbear even at higher prices just to support someone who supports us.  Anyways hope this helps and if you want I can get you the mouser part numbers.

That'd be great! What are the quantities required for $.07-$.012 per cap?

Hey there is no minimum order on the AVX Multi-Layered Film Caps.  I'm not sure which values you want but if you search mouser for ["AVX Multi-Layer Film Capacitors" 63v 5%] then you can sort out through them.  Heres a couple to get you started.  Always check the datasheets to see if its what you want (especially size-wise).  You can change out the tolerance and voltage if they dont have a certain value.
