Sonic Distortion Pot

Hi, I etched my own board for the Sonic Distortion from GGG and got it up and running first time, only thing is the 250k gain pot i have is a bit dodgy, i think it has seen better days, i don't have another so could i use a differant value with out any drastic changes to the pedal? cheers Crawf.

  Maybe is the best I can do without guessing what it does or looking up the schematic.

If you use a larger value pot then the maximum gain will be higher if you use a smaller value the maximum gain will be lower. I'd probably go with a 500k if you've got one, that will give you all the sounds of the original pedal plus some extra distortion if you want it.
