Hey, I'm kind of new here and i recently built an its- 8 off the ggg website. Anyway i bought my parts from small bear and the problem is that the effect didn't work but it work in bypass. I think i've narrowed it down to one of a few things but could use some help. I noticed on mousers website that there tranny equals for the 2sc1815 have the collector, base and emitter pins backwards as opposed to the lay out on ggg. Does anyone know what the layout of the pins on small bears 2sc1815 is with the flat side facing left? And also is there a way of testing the tranny to find out?   Thanks Kevin.

What you should do first is find the sticky "What To Do When It Doesn't Work".  I don't quite understand what you are saying about your transistor orientation, but it is more than likely a mistake with the way you wired up the effect, or component placement, etc, rather than a bad part.

Go to that sticky, fill in all the information for us, and report back!
