Regulated power supply diode question??

Hey all I'm building the ggg regulated power supply and i ordered the parts from the part list and it said to order 1n4001 diodes but upon assembly i noticed that on the layout it says 1n4002 diodes. Will this make a difference which one i use and if so which one should be used? Thanks kevin
