Well i finally got the new trannies for my ggg tube screamer since i fried the other ones cuz the pin out was flip flopped! It sounds really nice i decided to do the mods off the wah mods pages to get a deeper fatter tone and it sounds great! I think i might sell my stock ts808 with the tv mod and build me a stock tube screamer because they seem to sound real well cascaded into each other. Thanks for helping me trouble shoot and learn a little about this . Thanks kevin

Nice work Kevin !
The thing you'll notice about a DIY TS next to a commercial one, is how much more "open"
the sound is, without having all that fet switching in there ( effects the signal path in a not good way )
The buffers are useful in these things though.
If you're happy with it, I say sell the other and build another :D
You can always add diode switch etc, and tweak to taste and your own "rig"
Cool ....

Before you go cascading your TS, stick in a larger gain pot or better still, have two gain pots in series. At extreme settings you'll probably get oscillation, but I really like the sound of the TS with more!
