mwynwood: The buffered splitter box is something I abandoned because all Parker Flys and most of the Niteflys (except NFV1&2) have one already built into them already. You need a preamp to use the piezos in your guitar. Parker had a thing called a "Nitemix" that served that purpose. Don't know where you could get one of those, though. My 1FlyBOB-D is a completely passive device.

hmmm... so how about if I took the 1flyBOB idea and added a preamp from an acoustic guitar and put it all in an enclosure?
Something like this:

Or even simpler... I could build a normal passive 1flyBOB and then get an external preamp like this: http://www.fishman.com/products/view/pro-eq-ii-acoustic-preampeq

Is there an easy solution with no controls I could put in the 1flyBOB to act as a preamp?
Maybe this?

With R1 taken out and R2 and R3 changed to 22M.

Thanks for looking at all my dumb questions  :icon_lol:

I think your could work. AFAIK, that's basically what the "Nitemix" is.
