Hey,

I have done the range master project on GGG. I did this to the tone http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=54981.new;topicseen#new The picture is how i have it.
Is it possible to just install a 2 way toggle and have 2 different value caps on it for 2 different tones?
Once I installed the tone on that link, and removed the dc jack there has been massive tone loss.

I'm not sure If i wired to have just the 9v clip on the board and no dc jack correct.

Thanks

Matt

Caps are opposite resistors in that..
Cap values add when in parallel, parallel caps look like a larger uf value to the circuit.
  Caps divide when in series.
  This offers many switching options.
I prefer [when I used mini toggles for this] to have it wired so that if I cut the switch lugs off, the circuit would work, this means adding a parallel cap to get the 'fat' sound, I like .022uf for that so used two caps, one .0082uf [because 0047uf is uselessly trebly for me] and paralleled whatever else I had in the range to make about .01uf.
