Smooth DS-1 Mods please help

I was looking for a mod that would smooth out my DS-1 it just sounds to grainy and isn't as transparent as I want it even though it has already been modded through Monte Allums.
I heard that MOSFET produces a smoother sound would this be an option for a DS-1.
Please Help!
