Bit of a squeeze but just 7.5cm x 4.5cm makes it a pedalboard "friend" !!
Staggered jacks was the only way it would "work" and I can just leave it on all the time.
It will get "cable tied" down..... one of my "neater" wire up's !

Very "Tidy" Marty!  8)
(how's that for a British term!)

nice job Marty!

i've got my ggg ic buffer in a 1590A, very tidy wiring too but very rewardful in terms of pedalboard space  :icon_wink:

GGG IC buffer with a 1Meg pot to ground.

Marty you are so right. These buffer boxes are great to have around.

There has been a lot of posts about the high frequency response of buffers
I experimented with pot to ground and pot/cap to ground at the input.
I settled for a 1meg pot and 250k resistor to ground at the input.

Am I right to believe this pot/250k makes for a variable input impedance?
What ever it's doing electrically, it produces the desired effect of rolling off the extreme high-end that make buffers sound brittle.

Another great "place" for a buffer is in the bypass of a booster.
Keeps your tone from nose diving when the booster is turned off.

It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.

Yes , I believe that you're right about this, I went with a 2m2 to ground pre-input cap and an 820k pair from
9v to opamp + pin and ground.
I wouldn't say that it's brittle - nice and "shiney" though !
It will live at the end of my board before the long lead to amp.
My first pedal is a buffered compressor - so all good here.

I just assumed it was your first pedal.

It bears to mention the pot to ground trick only works as intended when passive pup's are connected so it needs to be first.
