a) It is a fairly recent product and the general tendency here is to stick with those things that are either completely DIY or have run their course as commercial innovations.

b) The designer is a regular here (or at least was a regular on the prior incarnation of this forum - I can't tell from here anymore with the new format), and there is generally a preference to leave the rug comfortably under our colleagues as opposed to yanking it out.  In any event it should be his call, not ours.

Mark, are you referring to Anthonie de Barmentloo? I believe he's from Germany.

WARNING: Don't even try to confuse Holland with Germany because it's a rather touchy subject here...

Hi Gil:
yes, I do have the schemo, but also got a license-agreement with
E-H, not to disclose/publish it.

Hi Mark:
yes, I`m (still) here,
and right: a dutchman,...

Hi Arno:
...daring to live in Germany.
(just leave out the "de" between first and last name, or put a "Th." there,
of noem me gewoon: Ton.)

Hi Ton,

I'm really sorry for calling you German
And as always, Mark Hammer is right...

I really didn't know you were from Holland, but it's cool that a Dutchman designed all these nice pedals anyway! :D

Are the tubes in this circuit run on starved voltage?  Just curious. :?

puretube

no: real high tension on the plates, and 12V DC on the heaters.

Rodgre

that schematic, by the way, is NOT the new Tube Zipper.

It's the old "big muff" size Zipper from the late 70's/early 80's.

What a cool sounding envelope follower that thing is! The sound of a vomitting guitar! Fantastic!
