switching between resistors

so, here's my plan (or idea - whatever you wanna call it)

i'm planning on building a fuzz face with a couple of mods to it (mostly roger mayer mods)
what i wanted to know though is if there is any way that i could have both values for the resistors (both original FF and RM) and use a switch to switch between them?

and, if its possible...could i only use one switch to switch between lets say 2 or 3 different resistor pairs? (like 1. all roger mayer 2. all FF resistors)

a schem would be really helpful too
cheers

sure, with a 3PDT, or even a 4PDT switch...
no longer the battle of midway...(i left that band)...

i hate signatures with gear lists/crap for sale....

i am a wah pervert...ask away...

hendriko

but where would the signal come from?

i mean the resistors are in different places of the circuit and have the signal coming from totally different places?
you wouldn't be able to draw a small schem up would you?

I don't think you'll be able to do all that with one switch, unless ya build both FF circuits and switch between them.

Here's a diagram to give you an idea how to switch ONE(1) resistor, cap, diode, whatever value... in this case it's clippers, but...

ah crap...well, i don't wanna build that whole thing twice
i guess i'll just put them in with sockets and see how it turns out

thanks for the help

Yeah, jeez, besides the resistors, the cap values, the pots... just too much for a big switch...

But, you could get a whole bunch of switches and have a box like a porcupine... :icon_mrgreen:

hendriko

eh...good idea theoretically
but i don't wanna go through all the hassle with my first build:P

if there was an easy way to switch em all...i'd do it
but a swich for each pair - no thanks haha

thanks again
cheers
