What to do with a LMC565CN ??

Do you have any idea what I could do if we eliminate CA Ring mod ? ?

I never finished the CA ring mod and I'd like to use the chip to something else...

What you have there is an obsolete phase lock loop chip. Probably from a FM radio. I doubt it has many direct stompbox applications - and the CD4046 pll is cheap & easier to work with anyway!
Looking around, I did find this Japanese page http://emusic.g.hatena.ne.jp/Chuck/20050731 that lists a "LM565 PLL" along with a shitload of more familiar synth & stompbox circuits so it looks like SOMETHNG can be done - maybe someone here who knows Japanese can search through the site for it!
