Troubleshooting a rebote 2

What would make a rebote 2 kind of self oscillate or go all over the place? It has been modded to do the endless repeats and has worked fine and then all of a sudden it just started doing this. Anyone have any suggestions?

It would help us indentifying the problem if you could be a little more specific on how and when (control settings)  the pedal is misbehaving.
I think you may have a broken wire/bad solder joint/broken pcb track around the repeats potentiometer.

Hi there,
you also should try to chek the repeat  resistor you have changed, once i had the same problem and try with a 12k resistor and it worked fine.
