Are you referring to the E-H Microsynth or the actual (and super rare and not cheap) Guitar Synth?

Does the Mircosynth circuit actually convert pitch to voltage in any fashion that would be worth extracting that part of the circuit to make a standalone P-V converter?

It seems that the MS-20 circuit might be the way to go, if I ever get brave enough to try to build something like that.

I sure wish that Paia had a kit for something like that, hint hint.
