Hi,
I am having a prob w/ my tonepad bigmuff build. I get volume (and the volume pot works) but I get no fuzz (and tone and sustain pots don't affect anything). I notice when I measured voltage I get .01 when measuring +9v in (this is w/ negative DMM lead on the ground lug of input jack). and therefore I get 0.0 when measuring any of the transistors. So it seems like voltage is not getting to the board. (my battery is new and measures 9.13)
The only parts I substituted were that my 470k resistors are 1/2 watt instead of 1/4 watt.
  Anyway here are some pics.

anyone have any thoughts?

Check the wiring again.
It sounds like you just have the volume pot wired directly to the input... to check this you can measure
resistance from input to output with volume full up...
And you had a cable in the input jack when you measured the voltage right? (sorry, I had to ask  :icon_redface: )...

This would be a good example to use an audio probe.  Make sure that the signal isn't being bypassed.
