Switch Question on a Big Muff mod

I'm about to due a few mods to my Big Muff and I want to do the feedback mod, as seen here: http://www.student.ru.nl/r.kerkhof/Taas/Mods/Big%20Muff.htm My question is can I use a DPDT switch on that mod, it seems as if a DPST switch is really needed in order for me to be able to break the connection on the two wires, but are they are pretty impossible to find especially in stomp switch form.  Either that or I'm completely out of line on this mod, as I'm starting to think you only jump one set of emitters, not both.  Thanks in advanced.

Just a quick aside; anyone have a link to directions on converting the Big Muff to BOSS style power jack?

However, where it says "diode" you want emitter instead.

A DPDT switch is basically two SPDT switches in one, both controlled by the same toggle. You'd need a DPDT switch to do what you want.
