Hi!
I have just finished this metal pedal. It's a good sounding one.
However I do have some trouble.
As the input J-fet I used a BF245, as the 2SK44C was hard to find. That part seems to work OK as both drive and attack pots works fine.
My concern is the Punch pot. When I change it I hear no affect on sound at all.
What should it do?
The Edge and Level pots allso works fine it's just that "punch"
Any help?

Check the wiring and part values around that part of the circuit.  MAke sure you haven't got the pot wires switched. The control should work like a bass boost/cut control.

According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.

Thanks for your reply. The wiring is checked several times. What I haven't check is the caps, maybe there's a faulty one..
At least now I know what it should do.
