Staticy Fuzz

Okay got the Fuzz Face working, did the RM mods and sounds really sweet....but...I have this scratchy, staticy sound when you barely hit the guitar strings.  If you pluck them harder it goes away.   I also notice that if you touch the Q2 casing it hums or makes noise.   Q1 does not do this.   Is this a grounding issue possibly causing all of these problems.   The most annoying is the static sound when you barely pluck the strings.   

Inquiring minds would like to know.   Meanwhile I will check the grounds.
