These are the same clips i posted a few months ago. I paste here the information about the recordings:

used an AKG microphone with my Peavey Bravo 25W tube amp,
and an HSS Yamaha Pacifica 604W strat. (With a Seymour duncan JB
at the bridge, and a Vintage Rails pickup at the neck)

used the bass at almost max, treble and mid at 9-10 o clock. presence
is usually at 12-13 o clock.

recorded with my IBM laptop, poor audio card, nothing fancy...

direct.mp3 is a direct recording to the soundcard, just straight from the box...

i bumped this old post because of some problems/doubt experienced by some of the constructors of the marshall sim [Rafa!  ;D]

heres a modified presence control and a cap replacement before the clipper stage

Hey km-r, could you repost the modified presence control and cap replacement?

Thanks,
Dave

I saw the post about the presence control modification for the Marshall LXH2 and visited Krister Sundstrom's site where he reproduces a part of an older Marshall LXH2 schematic he found with a different layout for the presence control. I had problems understanding the changes and added an extra 10K resistor connecting the output of stage 3 to the wiper, pin 2, of the presence control. I left everything else as it was. I then looked at the schematic again and realised I had misunderstood, but the way I did it does also work quite well. Has anybody else tried this modification and if you have, could you post the way you did it please?

Wow.  It's been a very long time since I did this layout.  I posted it on the DIY Layout Creator site after I finished it.  Here's the link that I was able to find.  You'll need to right click it and save as.  I haven't tried it yet to see if it works on the new version of DIYLC.  Let us know if it works for you!

And in case anyone is looking for other older DIYLC V1 layouts, they can be found on this page:
http://diy-fever.com/software/diylc/

Scroll down and click on the folder labeled layouts_v1.  And according to the site, these will work with V3 of the DIYLC.

He great , thanks.
do you have the schematic? i cannot simply build this as is without that.
does it have all the dips and peaks from the original?
