Treble response of speakers = caps and coils?

I wonder, since a speaker has an inductance, whether the treble response is loagrithmic when starting to put speakers in series,
I mean: if you have several inductors in series, you lower the roll-off frequency, no? (like caps: higher low-cut)
Is it theoretical true that if you place 2 or more 6"-8" speakers in series, will you have a closer rsponse as 1 12"?

A speaker is more than just an inductor. It has a resonant frequency due to its size and mass of the cone. If you tap the cone it will give you a note like a drumskin. Above that note the respose will drop off. If you put 2 speakers in series it doesn't change the resonant frequency of the speaker. A smaller speaker will have a higher resonant frequency in general so no it won't be like a bigger speaker if you put them in series. I think that's right my stuff on speakers is a bit rusty  :icon_confused:
