Could we use stacked FWRs for a super envelope follower?

Stephen,
inspite of the simplicity of the circuit, it requires quite complicated previous stages. It seems the circuit is not so useful.

There are no snow here in Almaty yet. Expecting it by December :-)
But the prices got too high in some last days :-(
