OK, i get it now. this whole confusion started from stopstopsmile talkin about the "axis fuzz" and then posting the "axis face" link? that one slipped right on by me! i couldnt figure out what was so confusing. oh well.

I love Phillip's pedal, and his site is fantastic, but I wish he had chosen another name for that pedal.

yeah its a bummer my version of the axis from fuzzcentral failed.  my roger mayer version is fine.
I for some reason cannot get the layout for the fuzzcentral axis to work for me.  Thats why I started this thread.
Some people are better at this than myself, its fun but I struggle thats for sure. 

Maybe you missed my first post.  This layout will work.  I only changed a few values and added 1 cap which you don't need to put in your build.

I built the Axis FACE Silicon V. 3 from Fuzz Central from the Vero layout from this site:

There's a lot of good stuff on it. First install the DIY Layout creator that can also be found on that site.

None of the Axis *Face* are affiliated with Roger Mayer. The Axis *Face* circuits are Fuzz *Face* derivations.

The Axis *Fuzz* is the Roger Mayer creation.

I want to buid the axis fuzz silicone
but my perf layout skills are lacking,  can anyone help me with a perf layout

lastly I cannot locate any of the transistors it calls for.

Is there any silicone trannies that will sound great, will work in this circuit, are cheap and easily found say at small bear?

Ok, someones gotta say it: silicone is for boobs and caulk, silicon is for IC's and transistors.  That being said, I'm working on one of these myself.
