Looks kind of interesting. Anyone ever build this one? If so, what do you think of it?

Built one some time ago and it's quite good, sort of "bluesbreaker" sound with a bit more hair on it !

Cool. How did you build it? PCB, perf?

zeta55

I tried it, some years ago. A very nice build. I had mine perfed.

Stripboard/vero - my usual weapon of choice !!
It's boxed up but elsewhere at the 'mo, a friend "borrowed" it .....

I wonder if someone has a layout made up for it?

Stripboard if possible (sorry to barge in ...)

My plan once was to build it again, I started a layout wich never was completed. Let me check it and see how much work it needs. Maybe I could post a layout later this week if you'd like :icon_biggrin:

If you're feeling up to it, that would be cool.

No problem, found the files and theres a little bit of work left on it.
I'll post in this thread once it done.

Well, here's the components layout http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=7mghlywdeny&thumb=4
And the Layout transfer http://www.mediafire.com/?fudhyjjez4p

Hope the links work, remember that this is not a verified layout, shure hope it is correct.
One more thing, I left out the bufferedbypass.

Has anybody made a veroboard layout for this one?

jdub

Hmmm...no vero, but I have a PCB layout here (http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/jdub/?g2_page=2) and I might have a similar layout in perf form stored someplace if you're interested...also Neil411 has a perf layout here: http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/neil411/GM+Arts+Overdrive/GM+Arts+Perfboard.gif.html  Hope this helps. It's a nice sounding box, one of my faves- pretty versatile.  ;)
