A friend has one of these and needs to find a mod to increase the gain.

does anyone know any kind of mods for such a pedal?

of course, that "digitally programmable" got me thinking, but... you never know

thanks!

I haven't seen a schematic as it is quite complicated and Tech 21 doesn't publish them.  It is however based on the Sansamp GT-2, with digital pots being controlled by a microprocessor subbed in for the normal pots. I imagine that knowing that,  you could figure it out, or even rely on brute force and find where the bypass signal splits off, and wire a fixed boost circuit on the input of the effect.

I agree though, not enough gain.

I had one once and thought about modding the shrillness out of the marshall setting by getting rid of the bright cap, but never did, because I had a hard time getting a good sound out of it and my Jazz chorus.  Really cool technology though, digital control of an all analog signal path, outstanding.

Anyone got info on the "Digitally programmable, 100% analog signal path" switching? Thanks in advance.
