Coffee shops. They are always looking for live music. You don't even need to be good. The only ''gig'' I've ever had was playing some ambient with a friend on 420. :icon_mrgreen:

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

Do you have a closer picture of it?  I'm sorry, I have always wanted a JEM. My dream guitar.  Here's me swirling my RG470.

This is my "experimental" board I keep in my office.  It sort of moves around a bit as I try things out.  Too heavy to move around

This is a board I made for 1590a pedals.  I've done a couple of these

I also have a PT-2 and PT-Mini, but I don't have photos of those currently.

Great boards. I love the excessive use of DMM on the big board :)

Thanks.  Agreed that two DMMs is totally excessive.

FWIW, one of them is the MN3005, one is v3205.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

Hi guys - thought I'd post in this thread, now that my pedalboard is complete. Built the last pedal today. Every pedal on here is a self build, apart from the tuner and DI. I've also used a few different methods of making cases from scratch - wooden sided, folded aluminium and a custom welded sloped case. My personal faves are the Hot-Chilli booster with the red led ring and transparent knob, and the wooden sided booster with diamond etched paisley detail. I have closeups of all the individual pedals if anyone wants to see more - although I'd maybe have to post them in a different forum thread?

Cheers,

Dan

Great work Dan, much uniqueness! Be sure to post pictures of individuals in the 'Pictures' thread. Nicely done!

Oops, already started a thread with my pics in here: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=103734.0

Would I be better posting in the pictures thread?

Cheers! Dan

Here's my current set-up:

Korg Pitchblack > DOD 280 Opto-compressor (UK-Elec kit) > Distortion  + (Musikding kit - one of my first builds) > Timmy > SHO > Bypass looper (under the board) which can allow me to plug my VP Jr in after the drive section > Tap tremolo (UK-Elec kit) > NUX Time Force delay > Dead Astronaut Reverb

Underneath is a Harley Benton PowerPlant Jr, except the delay, which needs 300mA so has its own plug.
Yep, that's John Calvin on the Altoids tin.. cause it's for  "picks"... get it?

Affinity Tele with GFS NeoVins into a Bugera V5.

Oh, and I built the actual board as well - fits in a 20€ hardcase I got at the local hardware store. It's a bit smaller than I'd like, but the plus side is that it makes me think hard about what I need on there, and how to make the most of it.
The cables I make myelf too.. Sommer Cable and 1€ plugs, which I find to be swolid and fairly compact. I do drill a 1mm hole in the negative strip to make it easier to solder the cable.

That "Nux Time Force" looks interesting. Never heard of it before... How do you like it?

@Pickdropper

Was just wondering what jacks those are? I was just about to put an order in for some of those right-angled pancake style ones but the ones you have there could be a serious contender.

Marcus

Are you referring to the plugs on the patch cables?

If so, they are George L solder less plugs.  Convenient, but I am beginning to hate them as the connections fail faster than soldered connections.  If I can find a small form factor soldered plug I like, I will probably get rid of them.

Do you have an opinion on the differences? I have some v3205s that I want to use and I am in need of a delay currently.  :-\

Would value your input and/or recommendations...  ;)

Dave, Have you seen these or had any experience with them? Much differing  them from the George L's?
