Need help determining the Right Capaciter size to stop OVERLOAD!

One more question....I've been reading. Does it matter whether the pulldown resistor goes in front or behind the capacitor? If I need to move the cap, I will. It would just be easier to leave it, and put the resistor on the switch, from the input to the ground.

I would put pulldown resistors first and last.  Meaning, before the cap on the input, and after the cap on the output.

However, I've seen it both ways, and I'm not certain if it really matters for audio frequencies.
